Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Your team's objective is simple: Draw precisely 1 picture (or comic) per team of one of your elemental adepts Sailing against the others... Olympics style!
EVENT 2 Retrieve the egg from the dragon (as in the Triwizard Tournament). This time, you must retrieve an egg from a Dragon... The Possible Dragons are... Blue Dragon, Flame Dragon, Fusion Dragon, and Doom Dragon! Now... By the random number generator... The teams will be assigned to a dragon...

Your task is to draw a short comic (two panels is fine) depicting your adept's attempt (sucessful or not) to get the dragon egg. One per team.
EVENT 3
Let's get Event 3 underway. It will be "Group pose (victory/ready)". Show us what your team looks like when they're ready for an event, or have just won one. Feel free to include medals. Each picture must contain 2 or more adepts from your team. Event 3 is the final event of the Colosseum!
Questions? Don't be afraid to ask. I might not always have the answer, but I will try.
Progress, please? Since I keep having to shift the due date for the events, this time I'm going to ask for a small progress report from each of the teams. All you have to do is comment or note saying what status your team is at. i.e. Planning, lineart, background, coloring, finishing, etc. Hopefully, this will allow me to adjust the due date to a date that won't need extentsions and will work for all.

^{Prelimary Rules
The team can choose to use any character who can use the element of the team name, including named NPCs like Alex, Satoros, and Hama. Please don't use obscure or little-known characters, such as Nowell, Takeru, Justin, Megan, etc. ***You CAN use a different character for each event.***
One picture per event will be created through collaboration of the team (there will be more than one, so it's okay if not everyone can do a particular event). All teams will be given the same event to complete in a set amount of time. The entire team will come up with one deviation per event, (unless we have 10+ members in a team, in which case, it'd be two).
Medals handed out to the winning teams. Gold is 3 points, Silver 2, and Bronze 1.
At the end of the entire Colosseum event, we will be adding up all the points and hand out prizes to the teams accordingly.
The prizes won't be awarded to the individual members of the winning teams, but rather to the teams themselves. It will be paying special tribute to the characters representing the winning team for a period of time and the winning team's element.
Club rules for submissions still apply.

Thank you, Wong, for organizing this fun event. I really enjoyed it. I must say, I wouldn't mind doing this event again next summer. I do think it would be a good idea, though, to shuffle up the teams. I really want to get to know some of the other people in this fanclub. :]
